Bondansträsk

The lake was once part of Aursviken and is now a mirror in the landscape. Bondans mainly gets its water from Norrsund and is a shallow lake with a rocky shore. Here you can find vegetation such as bulrush, reeds, and broadleaf cattail.

The birdlife is rich, and during midsummer, the Apollo butterfly can be seen flying in the surrounding area. The notable Bondans farm is also located nearby.

Directions

Take road 148 to Fårösund, then take the ferry to Fårö. A couple of kilometers south of Fårö Church, turn off towards Langhammars (signposted).
