Fluntinge fishing village

Just south of Grötlingboudd, past Österbod, lies Fluntinge fishing village along the incredibly rocky coast. Fluntinge is more than just a physical place; it's a tapestry of memories and traditions.

A fairly large boat lies in state at Fluntinge. Perhaps it was similar boats that the farm men of old used to travel to the Baltic countries for trade, which, as is well known, made Gotland both the richest and culturally leading region in the Nordic countries.
